Gold Seal of Approval

The Plymouth House has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The Joint Commission is a third-party accreditation company that certifies more than 20,000 health care organizations and programs across the U.S. The Commission evaluates addiction treatment centers based on their quality of services, patient care, safety, environment, ethics, medication practices, staff credentials, leadership and evidence-based treatment outcomes. To receive the Gold Seal of Approval is one of the highest honors an addiction treatment center can earn. It essentially ensures that every client who seeks treatment at a Gold Seal facility like The Plymouth House is guaranteed high-quality care.

The Plymouth House is extremely proud to have the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal. The accomplishment is a testament to the hard work, passion and heart our staff puts into creating the most top-notch treatment program possible.

Since 2002, The Plymouth House has been providing individuals and their families hope for a better life, free from addiction. We are not a treatment center in the traditional sense of the term. We are a 12-Step retreat, nestled in the gorgeous foothills of the White Mountains, where individuals come to disconnect and dive deep into working the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. Our founder, Tom S., believed wholeheartedly in the power of the 12 Steps to transform lives. The Steps give individuals the spiritual and emotional tools necessary to lead fulfilling, joyful, meaningful, love-filled lives. The Steps are a pathway leading to lifelong recovery.
