As a 12 Step retreat, we follow the life-changing recovery program found in the text of Alcoholics Anonymous. Plymouth House guests have the opportunity to begin the Steps in a recovery community. Our formula calls for a day filled with groups run by staff and residents, individual Step work, community chores and time for reflection. It should be noted that the Plymouth House is neither a clinical nor medical facility; it is a sober community dedicated to the practice of the 12 Steps.
| The Plymouth House offers a solid 12 Step Program of recovery. Our staff consists of seasoned 12 Step practitioners. We are all addicts and alcoholics who were unable to achieve lasting recovery until we were introduced to the 12 Steps as outlined in the "Big Book" of Alcoholics Anonymous. Hence, the Plymouth House brings a passion and commitment that is characteristic of genuine recovery. This "energy" is what makes us unique. | |||||
